The 21st World Congress of the World Association for Dynamic Psychiatry (WADP) is an international scientific meeting that brings together psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, psychologists, researchers, trainees, and mental health professionals from around the world. The congress is organized in collaboration with the German Academy for Psychoanalysis (DAP) and is co-sponsored by several international psychiatric and psychotherapy organizations. The 2027 congress theme is "Identity: Person, Group, Society – Implications for Psychotherapy and Psychiatry." The scientific program will explore how personal, social, and cultural identity influences mental health, psychiatric disorders, and psychotherapeutic practice. Sessions will include keynote lectures, scientific symposia, workshops, paper presentations, and interdisciplinary discussions covering psychodynamic psychiatry, psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, group dynamics, personality development, trauma, social psychiatry, and contemporary approaches to mental healthcare.
