The International Society for Autonomic Neuroscience (ISAN) came to life at a meeting in Melbourne in 1994 to represent both academic and industrial scientists at the forefront of autonomic research. The common goal is to further understand the diversity of the autonomic nervous system and its dysfunction in health and disease. The official journal of the society is Autonomic Neuroscience: Basic & Clinical edited by Elsevier and attracting papers covering both basic and clinical autonomic neuroscience. ISAN 2026 will be the first meeting held in Italy since Stresa in 2015 (followed by a world tour of North & South America, Europe, Japan and Australia). We invite you to join ISAN 2026 in Bologna, Italy, for the chance to connect and network with 400-500 attendees from all over the world. The program will include 24 symposia, four keynote lectures, four poster sessions and a practical workshop for young scientists.
